Problems with resizing windows from Full screen to smaller size

Context:
I'm running Latest Ubuntu desktop with VirtualBox 5.2
- Guest additions installed
- I have 2 cores of AMD Ryzen 2700x allocated
- 8GB ram
What happens?
Well if I have any window sized to fullscreen and now try to make it smaller, the Ubuntu will freeze. Sometimes after long waiting it may do something but still be really laggy.
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar issues?
