VMware kernel header 3.18.0 not found
I am trying to use VMware, but an error keeps popping up, I cannot find the needed kernel and I don't know how to run/load it. When I boot up VMware, this pops up:
Before you can run VMware, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the running kernel. Kernel-headers 3.18.0-18721-ga0ff0d06b120. Kernel headers for version 3.18.0-18721-ga0ff0d06b120 were not found. If you installed them in a non-default path you can specify below.Otherwise refer to your distrubution's documentation for installation instructions and click refresh to search again in default locations. I can't find kernel headers 3.18.0-18721-ga0ff0d06b120 and don't know how to install it.
If anyone has an answer it would help me, thank you if you do. I have been searching well over a week now, but unfortunately nothing is popping up. I have a Acer Chromebook 11 with dual-boot Chrome OS and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
