Michalovce District in the Kosice Region
Jastrabie pri Michalovciach (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈjastɾabɪ̯ɛ pɾi ˈmixalɔʊ̯tsɪ̯ax]) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1337.
Geography[edit]
The village lies at an altitude of 104 metres and covers an area of 5.742 km².
It has a population of 338 people.
Ethnicity[edit]
The population is about 99% Slovak in ethnicity.
Culture[edit]
The village has a small public library, a football pitch and a food store.
