OpenGL is not responding

I run projects by the software package REBOUND (https://rebound.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.htm), I use the C programming version and it plots the planetary dynamics using OpenGL.
I was used to have Ubuntu through a Virtual Machine and it worked well, I never had problems with the visualization. Recently I decided to install Ubuntu 18.04 fully in my computer and stop to use the Virtual Machine.
So when I started to run my projects again I had some problems with the virtual machine, the projects I was used to have visualization, now the OpenGL opens but is not responding, it gives me 2 options "Force Quit" or "Wait". If I click Wait the image shows after while but really slow and gives me the error again. In fact, even very light projects now the visualization opens but it is too slow.
Anyway, I thought could be some applications or drivers I didn't install, since I just installed the Ubuntu. But I already installed the drivers, the case for my graphic is: GeForce GTX 950M/PCIe/SSE2.
Idk, how to resolve
