I/O error /dev/sda2 sector “xxxxxx”, again with the new hard disk as well
I had been getting errors like I/O error, blk_update_request, bad sectors etc. around 4 months ago. After investigating, I concluded all of this was pointing to the hard disk going bad. So I replaced it with a new one, but surprisingly I have again started getting the same errors. It would be hard for me to believe that my new hard disk has also gone bad after such a short time. So is there a possible explanation for this?
