Touch pad issue on Dell XPS 13 after upgrade
I lost the right click functionality on the touchpad of my dell XPS 13 after upgrading from 14.04 to 18.04. The right click clicks as the primary button (which the left click does as well). If anyone has experienced this issue or has a good idea where I should go to troubleshoot it, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

A fresh install probably would have avoided such issues. Because of the upgrade, you may still be using synaptics instead of libinput. If that is the case, first see if switching to libinput does solve the issue.

It looks like it is running synaptic. Libinput is installed. Do you know where the configuration file is located to change this? I'm not familiar with libinput.

Remove xserver-xorg-input-synaptics and reboot.

I gave this a try, but the situation is not improved. Is it possible I need to do something to configure the button mapping for libinput?

I installed the gnome-tweaks utility and was able to use it to get the right click functionality back. Thanks for the assistance with this. It was a real annoying problem.
