Ubuntu 18.04 crashes without reason and starts in possible rebooting mode?
I was not processing anything heavy on my computer, only reading documents and writing when it crashed. I could not even force quit anything and had to restart the computer. When restarting It asked for my login details which I provided, but it did not log me in, it was only still until screen saving went on. I then tried to turnoff the computer. When pressing the on button ob the pc, the little button with the cylinder just below my on off button flashed a couple of times, I don’t know what this means. The computer did not start, or i was too impatient, so I pressed the starting button again. Instead of starting normally, it started in another mode, black background with text.
The text is: /dev/sda1: clean, xxx/yyy files, xxxx/yyyy blocks
Created slice user slice of gdm
Starting user manager for uid 121
..
..
..
Started manage, install and generate color profiles
And then my computer password, for some reason, and then a blinking dash.
I hosted a screenshot here, hope it works throught the link even though I don't have enough reps to post pictures:

Now nothing is happening at all and the computer is not responding. I tried to google this a bit, but everyone are talking about rebooting. Did I accidentally start a reboot? How do I get out of this mode? I absolutely don’t want to reboot. I’m on ubuntu 18.04, the computer is a brand new dell with a hell of a lot of processing power. (Sorry for the bad details, can’t do a lot without the computer).
boot 18.04 dell startup crash
