How do I prevent ubuntu from scaling down mouse speed?
Currently I have a mouse that is set to 700 dpi, I have disabled all mouse acceleration, so that is good, however the mouse speed is still off. For whatever reason, the mouse speed is being scaled down.
I have a screen with 1440x900p resolution, so the mouse should theoretically need to move exactly 3.2766cm at 700 dpi in order to get from the top of the screen to the bottom, but it needs to move much further. I know that this is not due to acceleration, since the mouse takes the same distance to move from the bottom to the top no matter how fast I move it.
