I bought a laptop with Linux; there's only a guest session, i can't add other accounts [closed]

Doing a fresh install isn't as scary as it may sound (especially, if you are new to Linux). Do you have another computer that you can use to download Ubuntu and create a bootable USB stick? Here are the instructions to do this using Windows: tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/…. (For other scenarios, see this page: ubuntu.com/download/desktop)

If you don't an account with super user (root/sudo) permissions, I would strongly suggest just doing a clean install. It may be next to impossible to create a new account if you don't have sudo.
