How to get Epson Workforce 30 to work on 16.04?

I've searched the archives, and there are threads about downloading .deb files from the epson site, but the linux drivers for workforce 30 don't have any .deb files in them. And, the instructions within the files that are there make no sense and are no help.
Can anyone help me get this printer working?
