I want to dual boot ubuntu 18.10 and windows 10 on my laptop.I have 256GB SSD C drive and i want both of the OSes to be installed in C.I also have 1TB hard disk. My question is will ubuntu be able to use the hard disk memory after installing it in C or do i have to make another partition in the hard disk manually like i would do on the C drive for ubuntu?I want both of the OSes to be installed in C on different partitions and both of them to have access to different partitions on the hard disk.

Possible duplicate of How do I install Ubuntu? It is quite reasonable to install two Operating Systems to different partitions on the same drive, and the Ubuntu installer will help you do so...after you have prepared Windows first. Yes, both can readily access NTFS data partitions.
