my ubuntu version 14.04 is not detecting any wifi networks and also not recognising sound
I've tried installation and reinstallation of alsa, but it is not showing alsamixer
the output is
cannot open mixer: No such file or directory
tried several commands for wifi also.
it is not recognizing any wifi even network is available
