can we debug wpa_supplicant source code [on hold]

0

I know it sounds a little weird, but i wanted to know is it really possible to debug wpa_supplicant source code line by line.
NOTE: I mean to say whenever we do enter command wpa_cli in cmd soon after initializing the wpa_supplicant.
