Airplane mode automatically turns on (18.04 lts)

-1

it doesn't happen often, but it is really annoying. i will be surfing the internet just as usual but out of a sudden my connection will be disabled and the airplane mode will be turned on. how can i prevent this?

by the way i am a noobie linux user and this my first time using the OS and i love it.
My laptop is Thinkpad L-480 if anyone was wondering.

  • Share more details as an edit. Do you ever use a wired connection? Are you in an area where wi-fi is spotty? Is Bluetooth enabled or not? My guess is that you are losing wi-fi or the strength of the connection is dropping, and most laptops will go to airplane mode to not drain battery, as constant failed reconnects are expensive.
