Ubuntu 18.10 Laptop Completely Frozen [on hold]
I am dual booting Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.10 on my laptop. It has been never severely frozen before, but now nothing is responsive.
I have tried Ctrl+Alt+[F1-F6], Alt+[F1-F6], Ctrl+SysRq+REISUB and a lot of other solutions posted, but the laptop is still completely unresponsive. I have also tried hitting the power button and closing the laptop completely, but neither have any effect.
The last clip of audio is also looping.

I held down the power button for a couple of minutes and it rebooted. It’s fine now.

For a couple of minutes? Wow, you are really patient. Usually 5 seconds of constantly pressing the power button is like cutting off the power.
