Cannot boot Ubuntu with GPU ports with “cannot get freq at ep 0x82”
I tried to connect my HDMI/DP cable to GPU port to my monitor but the booting screen display "usb X-X1:X:1: cannot get freq at ep 0x82". The numbers after "usb" varies depends on which ports the cable is connected.
Sometimes I can boot Ubuntu but after some seconds it goes black screen with the same message.
This error does not appear when the cable is connected to motherboard ports and Ubuntu can be booted.
I tried to press shift or Ctrl+Alt+F1 during booting, but it doesn't response.
What is this error and how can I boot Ubuntu with my GPU monitor socket?
This is my Ubuntu version and GPU: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS, GeForce GTX 1070/PCIe/SSE2
Thank you.
