Grub, proceed when usb missing

0

I installed Linux on USB and grub on intern SSD disk (All in UEFI Mode).
Grub with USB inserted boot Windows 10 or Linux normally.

Boot without USB brings GRUB command-line.
I installed Linux twice, to ensure to be GRUB installed on intern SSD disk and no on to USB.

What to do next, please?
Any "proceed when missing partition to next GRUB entry" would be great...

Better to have an ESP - efi system partition (FAT32) on your external drive. Then you can set UEFI to boot external drive first & then internal drive second if first not found. But using grub on internal drive does not have a fallback boot. see: askubuntu.com/questions/638612/… & askubuntu.com/questions/786986/boot-ubuntu-from-external-drive/… & askubuntu.com/questions/1083330/…
