Fresh install Ubuntu 18.10 in laptop over 18.10 upgraded from 18.04 (to solve audio problem)
I need a fresh install of Ubuntu 18.10 in my laptop over existing 18.10 (upgraded from 18.04) to solve a well-known audio problem of the upgraded Ubuntu 18.10.
I tried booting from USB and DVD, but the operating system only starts in USB - DVD as external unit, but I don't see an option to install in the laptop because the two operating systems are both the same version.
I know that I can format the partition in the laptop where Ubuntu 18.10 is installed, but I'm a beginner and prefer the simplest solution.
