Cursor Disappears After Sleep Mode

0

After the last update I noticed that the cursor will often disappear when my laptop (Lenovo G500) is brought out of sleep mode.

I’ve been running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS since Boxing Day. I can fix this with a reboot but it is annoying.

Apparently this is a known bug, although I never experienced it on 14.04. Is there a fix?

Thanks.

  • If this is a known bug, than you should monitor it on bug tracker (launchpad.net etc.)

  • OK thanks. I've discovered it's a bit sporadic though and doesn't happen every time I wake the computer.

  • Even if it happens not all the time it would be better to create a bug report on launchpad.net if it is not exist yet.

  • If it's a known bug, please provide the relevant link to the bug.

  • There seems to be several bugs that make the cursor invisible after waking. I'm not sure which this is. It's also intermittent. I'll see what happens in the next few days.
