“Could not import runpy module” when running apt-get on Xubuntu 12.10

Just installed Xubuntu 12.10, on first apt-get update and upgrade I got
Could not import runpy module and all installs seem to stop there.



E.g. sudo apt-get --reinstall install python gives the following

          This is a bug that still not fixed yet. see Bug #1024016 .
          Maybe you can try this way in #31 floor or apt-get remove python3 and wait until the bug is fixed.
