How to generate new (unused) IP address for new VM setup in command line

0

If I have one VM set up on virtual box that uses vboxnet0 and some IP address, let's say someone may have few vboxnet#s set up on their computer, is there a command line that I could use to set up new hostonly that would use IP address that none of the current existing vboxnet#s use?

Let's say vboxnet0 uses 192.168.52.# and I'm setting up vboxnet1, I'm trying to use command line such as below, but I would like for it to generate IP address that is not used by any vboxnet# on current machine without having to check and manually change the IP address numbers.

vboxmanage dhcpserver add --ifname vboxnet1 --ip 192.168.57.2 --netmask 255.255.255.0 --lowerip 192.168.57.3 --upperip 192.168.57.254 --enable
